Who We Are
Technangwa is a youth-driven digital empowerment platform rooted in Mayanwa village, Wakiso District, Uganda. We exist to bridge the digital literacy gap by equipping young people with the skills, mentorship, and opportunities they need to thrive in today’s connected world.For too long, many young people in rural communities have lacked access to digital knowledge and opportunities. Technangwa was born to change this reality by giving the youth of Mayangwa a chance to dream bigger, learn smarter, and achieve more through technology.
Our Story
The idea of Technangwa began with a simple observation: young people in Mayangwa were talented, creative, and ambitious, yet they were being left behind in the digital age due to lack of access to resources and training.We asked ourselves: What if the youth here had the same digital skills as those in cities? What if they could access global opportunities from right here in Mayangwa Technangwa was created as the answer — a platform that connects youth to knowledge, skills, and opportunities, preparing them for a brighter future.
